Rhiannon has a background in art, community service, and construction which, combined with a love of problem solving, has led her many places, but finally found a home in Landscape Architecture. Rhiannon is interested in Landscape Architecture applications for community development in the urban environment with a focus on human and ecological health. Her graduate capstone at the University of Washington included in situ fact finding and focused on the ways the urban landscape can address human and ecological health challenges in the Peruvian Amazon. She has most recently transitioned from being a student rep to a professional member of the UW Landscape Architecture Professional Advisory Council and is helping to bring a greater awareness of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion to the conversations and actions of this group.
