biography

Laura is a landscape architect and project manager with experience in the ecology and equity of place, bringing a careful attention to the complex system of people and context that contribute to a sense of place. With an academic background in the sciences and prior work in youth education, she brings technical inquiry and a passion for education to the sites and teams she works with. Her project experience includes small urban sites, large-scale transportation projects, public parks, wildlife conservation, and campus design. Laura values design strategies that reveal a place – that protect and enhance existing site assets, that creatively restore sites without erasing site history, and that engage and show respect for the community.
