Federal Way Link Extension Wins Platinum Sustainable Infrastructure Award!
The Federal Way Link Extension project recently earned the Envision Platinum Award in Sustainable Infrastructure from the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) for excellence in indicators including: community, quality of life, energy, water, emissions, and resilience. This award underscores Sound Transit’s commitment to sustainability and collaboration with project partners as we build public transit to connect the places we all live, work, and play.
