Allison has a varied background that spans the humanities, game design, and outdoor education. Her varying interests, though diverse, are united by a passion for people, stories, and the sublime. As a landscape designer she is particularly excited by opportunities to shape public space. Allison has also been strongly influenced by her experience as a daughter of immigrants and is dedicated to exploring the ways landscape architects can contribute to social and environmental justice. As a graduate student at University of Washington, Allison worked with WASLA to develop a K-12 outreach program aimed at introducing landscape architecture as a career in racially diverse classrooms in Seattle. She is happy to continue this work, now as a professional.
